Josh took the booking at short notice, was really patient in answering all of my dumb questions, and (most importantly) is very very good at what he does. Definitely won't be reaturning. Given 2 goes and very disappointed. First one was done by an apprentice, fairly basic so that was fine but the ink was left patchy and irregular...it was a straight copy from a paw print. Second time I was assured I would not walk out disappointed which was very important for me due to the nature of the tattoo which would mark a year suicide attempt free after nearly losing my life.... I was treated like a second class citizen but were happy to take my $100 for a rushed 10min job. I walked out with paper towel strapped over it!? And a tattoo that looks like a shitty sketch from a child. (Chose to use a new tool and halfway through decided it was no good....this has left the ink to bleed). This is the third Brisbane-based studio I've had a tattoo done in and after the exceptional work and service I received here, I doubt I'll ever go anywhere else again. Tony and Ayden were absolutely A+, sat down and ensured the design was how I envisioned it, the price was quite reasonable and the quality was amazing. The studio was much cleaner and more presentable than other places I've been and the staff were genuinely caring and understood how important it was that the finished product was something I was happy with. Wanted a tat so googled local shops came across their awesome website. It gave me a lot of confidence in what to expect. But the site didn't live up to what I got. I was really happy with the tattoo my partner got at the Palace of Pain. I love the detail, the tribal look and positioning of the work. I approached the staff at the little shop in Cleveland a little nervously; there were two or three young inked and pierced people looking at me as I walked through the door to ask about the price of tatts and whether I could get a gift voucher - was this an OK question to ask, I wondered? Do people give gift vouchers for tatts? I soon discovered they were lovely and friendly and yes, they were happy to take my money.
