Went in there not knowing about the controversy - I myself being & looking very Jewish - he was kind, respectful, honest and very professional. The piercing itself was done in a very clean and sterile environment, he also was a very good piercer (Im aware of the difference from previous experiences). He explained the piercing and healing process in full and wants you to come back for check ups. Afterwards we incidentally ended up discussing politics and he was rational, not at all racist or disrespectful/ discriminatory towards anyone. We even went into the subject of Israel and he made it clear that it was the Israeli government that he was against and this was also due to his personal reasons/ experiences. I personally do not find it malicious to be against a government, however I do see how people would have taken offence from the sign. Regardless of personal views, the piercing experience was perfect and I highly recommend going there.

I had a bad piercing elsewhere and went to this shop to get it sorted. Mark was brilliant and couldn't be more helpful. If you want professionalism go to this shop. He knows what he's doing.

I had a horrific experience here. Got my ear pierced and got infected shortly after, I followed all of the directions to keep it sterile but his equipment and such was clearly not up to code and was the issue. I really do not recommend Cold Steel Piercing. I recommend this place you want to go on antibiotics for 3 weeks and risk amputation.

I went here to get my nose pierced and it was a big mistake. Staff were really rude. Place seemed very unhygienic. I ended up with an extremely bad infection. Spoke to a friend who got a tattoo here and it was a really botched job. When she went back to have it fixed they wouldn't even talk to her. Disgraceful. Avoid this place like the plague.

I met up with friends from New Zealand when I traveled to Australia (as part of a multi leg trip in January). I wanted to add another piercing so I'd have an interesting overseas story to go with one ...
I met up with friends from New Zealand when I traveled to Australia (as part of a multi leg trip in January). I wanted to add another piercing so I'd have an interesting overseas story to go with one of them. It was the worst experience I've had. As cool as the place looks, it isn't sterile. I always assume a place in business must have that down at least just to be in business. But I got a bad infection (after an unusually painful piercing), which ruined the rest of my trip. Had to see a doctor as soon as I got back to the US. Stay away from this place.

Went in there not knowing about the controversy - I myself being & looking very Jewish - he was kind, respectful, honest and very professional. The piercing itself was done in a very clean and sterile environment, he also was a very good piercer (Im aware of the difference from previous experiences). He explained the piercing and healing process in full and wants you to come back for check ups. We even went into the subject of Israel and he made it clear that it was the Israeli government that he was against and this was also due to his personal reasons/ experiences. Got my ear pierced and got infected shortly after, I followed all of the directions to keep it sterile but his equipment and such was clearly not up to code and was the issue. I really do not recommend Cold Steel Piercing. I recommend this place you want to go on antibiotics for 3 weeks and risk amputation.
