Booked in over a month in advance (11/11/2017) with a simple design for the 23/12/2017. After asking for a preview with 3 weeks to spare, and being promised one within the next 7 days at that point, we did not hear back from them despite contacting numerous times leading up to the booking. The day before the tattoo was scheduled to be done (23/12/2017) the artist text us (yes, only a text) saying they could not complete the design, thus ruining the present we had planned for someone for Christmas. Horrible customer service, horrible delivery, Christmas ruiner. I have also Literally drawn up the exact design we wanted within a half hour of work, during work time, in which if someone would contact us and please not ruin our families surprise. My son had been angling for me to get a tattoo for a while and booked us in with Jesse who had worked on his first tattoo, the house is very clean and clinical but comfortable, all the staff are friendly and there's a great mix of music happening, I felt very at ease as a first timer and very happy with the result and already planning the second one.... funny that! What can i say? I got my first ever Tattoo done by Mimsy about 7 weeks ago. I have now gone back and she has done another and Tommy inked my kids drawings on me yesterday. There is not one thing i don't LOVE about Trailer Trash. Everyone is friendly and helpful, communication proir appointments is great. I will keep coming back, it feels like family. I traveled interstate to see Mimsy after being a fan of hers for a while, and seeing her in the flesh at the rites of passage festival. First thing is first Madeline was wonderful dealing with me in the lead up, getting all the information prior to ensure my tatt was everything i wanted, (sifting through the 20 or so photos i sent ) what a star. Mimsy made me feel completely comfortable - given this was the first major tatt i had i was a little nervous, this made it so easy for me! and when it was finished (i didnt peek) i burst into tears at how perfect it was! my puppy went over the rainbow bridge after having her for 16 years.. she captured her playfulness, her spirit and was able to perfectly portray her super fluffyness. Awesome studio filled with rad artists. I feel like part of the family now, having visited so many times! The new shop looks great and the Trash Shack downstairs is always worth a peek for unique and quirky vintage items too. Its the most friendly, fun and welcoming studio you could hope for as a client.
