Pretty in Ink tattoo studio is a professional family run studio in the heart of West Ryde, Sydney. We offer custom high quality tattoos, in a cosy, clean, friendly environment. The studio runs on a booking by appointment system but we do also take on walk-ins if possible.
Our artists specialize in most styles of tattooing, including American Traditional, Japanese/Oriental, Portraits, Black & grey realistic, Water colour, Full colour realistic, Pop culture, Mandala & sacred geometry, Chicano, Script, Fine line and Micro tattoo art. We also support causes like The Semicolon Project
Our specialized artists will be happy to work with you to create a masterpiece to correct or cover-up that unwanted tattoo.
Pretty in Ink itself is set up in a cosy, intimate & homelike atmosphere with natural light and real people (NO ROCK STARRS). We are known for being client focused and building strong long-lasting relationships with our people. #PIITFAMILY

The great thing about this experience is that Tez was aware of my tight schedule regarding my upcoming holiday and was able to work around my situation to deliver an excellent outcome. The studio has an overall great atmosphere and very friendly staff and the new renovations have brought this place to life.

Hey everyone, just wanted to share my story with pretty in ink,wanted to get a rib tattoo but was abit worried about the pain ,had 4 session done and my man terry got me through every session, he put confidence in me ,and help me so much ,his not only awesome tattooist ,but I had full trust in his work ,all my tattoos have turned out more then I imagined ,and the best part about it made good mate out of meeting terry , and all the crew down at pretty in ink make you feel like your right at home , if anyone out there thinking of getting tattooed I highly recommend going to see these guys , i traveled 1 hour each way to see them and it was worth it Take care guys see you soon my brother regards Steve

Can't speak highly enough of Pretty In Ink and all of their staff. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming and put me completely at ease with their friendliness and professionalism. The studio may be small, but it is clean and tidy, and has a very pleasant ambiance. As for my tattoo, it turned out perfectly and exactly how I wanted, and Lee made the whole experience relaxing and fully enjoyable. I've already had so many compliments on my new ink, and I just know I'll be going back soon for more work by the Pretty In Ink team. All round 5 star experience.

My tattoo i got a few months ago. Was happy with it at first but after a few weeks i noticed alot of things wrong with it. I got a butterfly on my wrist. I is uneven. One side has larger loops and the other side has smaller ones. also the dots on the sides, there is 8 on one side and 15 on the other, its very noticable. I told the artist that it was my first proper tattoo and im very disappointed she wasnt more careful because of that reason. The middle of thr butterfly is an un even line with holes and its not really straight at all. Sadly im going to have to get my first ever tattoo covered up. Very upset about this. Ive seen good reviews on this place. I was hoping i would of had a better experience. Also you guys are very pricey. The butterfly was $180, and i got a larger tattoo on my back somewhere else for $110. I didnt want to complain, and im very sorry. I know you guys can do better. You have such lovely staff and i will return one day and ask for a different artist.

Can't speak highly enough of Pretty In Ink and all of their staff. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming and put me completely at ease with their friendliness and professionalism. The studio may be small, but it is clean and tidy, and has a very pleasant ambiance. As for my tattoo, it turned out perfectly and exactly how I wanted, and Lee made the whole experience relaxing and fully enjoyable. I've already had so many compliments on my new ink, and I just know I'll be going back soon for more work by the Pretty In Ink team. All round 5 star experience.

Apparently the studio is newly renovated and under new management. The vibe in there was great.

Lee just isn't up to the task of actually permanently marking people for life, he needs more training he just isn't good enough yet. I am very disappointed with the work I had done.

My tattoo i got a few months ago. Was happy with it at first but after a few weeks i noticed alot of things wrong with it. I got a butterfly on my wrist. I is uneven. One side has larger loops and the other side has smaller ones. also the dots on the sides, there is 8 on one side and 15 on the other, its very noticable. I told the artist that it was my first proper tattoo and im very disappointed she wasnt more careful because of that reason. The middle of thr butterfly is an un even line with holes and its not really straight at all. Sadly im going to have to get my first ever tattoo covered up. Very upset about this. Ive seen good reviews on this place. I was hoping i would of had a better experience. Also you guys are very pricey. The butterfly was $180, and i got a larger tattoo on my back somewhere else for $110. I didnt want to complain, and im very sorry. I know you guys can do better. You have such lovely staff and i will return one day and ask for a different artist.
