Went in for a tattoo for my partner and I. My one is really good. Her's is terrible! Different tattoo artists! Wouldn't recommend at all!!! Very expensive too not including how much to have it fixed by a quality tattoo establishment! Check out the other reviews before going here guys! How were we meant to check it properly? Wrapped up and bleeding? Have seen far better tattoos done by apprentices. Hard to rectify now! The artist was never thanked for a good job! We were sitting down at the concert with the tattoo wrapped. There was nothing wrong with the aftercare at all! Just an excuse for a terrible tattoo and obviously run by slack management just looking for excuses! The only remedy as we are out of the country was a partial refund but you offer free fix up? I went in for my first tattoo's at skin deep, and had two small pieces done by Marta. She's a very talented artist and made me feel very comfortable, it's been nearly a month now and they're healing up well and are exactly what I wanted so can not fault her! Definitely would suggest her, she was friendly and calming so I'm very glad I chose her to do my first tattoo's. only issue I really had was that in contacting the store I spoke to someone via email who organised for me to come in for a consult however she did not know that this had been organised, she did however make the time to come and speak to me but it was a little off putting. I should have read the reviews on here before making an appointment. Abusive and disrespectful staff, poor quality work, can't keep simple appointment time, will push you down the appointment queue if a more expensive job walks in the door despite having an appointment (this happened twice) then was told I had to either rebook or come back hours later. There is a dark skinned (black) guy with a beard, he was verbally abusive and even followed me out the door as I went to leave (absolute nutter). We were out of towners just got off a cruise ship and could not have walked into a nicer studio which was clean and had a great vibe. Got my first tattoo done, on a whim I walked in with a friend and within minutes our ideas were drawn up and we've both walked away with tattoos we absolutely love! I was tattooed by Sam the Tattoo man a while back and really loved the ink I got so I referred my mate to him and not only did he design an amazing tattoo for her he brought it to life on her in the most spectacular way. Worst "artists" i have EVER regrettably met. Started with a simple star design that they messed up. Covered it up with an even worse star design... to cover that up i needed something bigger so had to get an entire forearm piece that was also really bad. Such a shame!! I went to Skin deep last weekend while on holidays visiting a friend. I walking in quite late with only a rough idea of what i wanted and the receptionist was great! Giving me so many ideas and a professional opinion on how to make the design look balanced. Aon drew me up the design and did my piece, super cool guy. Didn't think i would be able to get it done that night as it was close to closing time but he started tattooing at 11;45 which made him have to stay 2 hrs after he was suppose too. He didn't complain at all and seemed quite happy to s0. Had a lot of fun there great atmosphere and even better staff! Was slightly more than what i was expecting to pay but was happy to do so as he did such great job. Good tattoos aren't cheap and cheap tattoos aren't good. Would recommend this place to anyone. Fast service, the staff were very friendly and chatty. I went in with three of my friends and we wanted to get linework tattooing done. We ended up having the tattoo's done in less than an hour, and were very happy with the easy booking and quick walk-in. Staff were friendly, if not a tinge judgemental but not bad at all! Read Less

Walked in with my friend during happy hour. They had her sorted but then when I was about to ask if I could get one too, the guy at the counter got distracted and chatted with his mate, who walked in after us and wasn't even getting a tattoo? So I didn't even get one. And my friend was unhappy with her experience (not with the tattoo cos it looks rad) but they were very condescending and the price was only slightly cheaper than every other tattoo place. Not worth it. I would rather pay a few extra bucks, if it gets me good service. Read Less

The guy I got was friendly enough but too careless with his markings (I had to correct the sketch twice and in the end one of the shapes was still off despite the corrected undermarkings). Two stars still because the shop looks like it has potential and surely this one guy doesn't represent everyone who works here. Read Less
