Rock of Ages was established in Lennox Head, Northern NSW in 2008, and has grown to accommodate the demand from happy clients in the region. There are currently 5 senior artists working at the studio: Milly Zavatarro, Tom Burrey, Josh Roelink, Merry Wilson and Liam Jenkins. Between these artists, over 50 years of collective professional tattooing experience means all styles can be catered for. We pride ourselves on a friendly and safe environment for our satisfied customers and our reputation in the area is solid. Went to Milly. Was nervous after 20 years of laser to remove old one. Milly wanted to draw new design which was too much for my taste. Found negotiating with her intimidating. Her manner was that of a bully. Asked for fine needle about 10 x in email and in person and what I got was chunky and not delicate at all. If you are looking for someone with more finr artistry and less typical tattoo book taste I would shop around.

After having pretty shit luck with tattooists in NSW so far - we managed to find Rock of Ages the day we head back home. Couldn't have been more friendly over the phone and had us in and out within an hour - both stoked on our matching pieces and the whole experience. Plus getting tattooed by a total babe does help with the discomfort!
