Completely taken advantage of as a walk in customer. Receptionist was friendly and happy to make sure my husband and I were able to get the piece done but the actual artist had zero customer service and was quite happy to take advantage of our lack of knowledge. We went in wanting simple finger initials and were unaware of the $150 tattoo minimum that is not listed ANYWHERE on their website or Facebook or in store. So be aware if you want anything little. The artist called Windle made us wait for almost 40 minutes while he printed off a pre designed letter? No idea why but we were ignored the whole time we were in. We had no idea why it took so long considering he was sitting eating his lunch when we walked in and he said he was free and would be with us in 10 mins. After he FINALLY called us in and he finished the first tattoo he then told us to go wait again! This time for 20 minutes and again for a design he had. It was in this time that we really wondered what could possibly be taking so long. We also asked how much we would be looking at. (stupid for not asking before, but we were walk ins and were excited and based on research really didn't expect what they would say next) for a small letter on my ring finger 1cm he said $150-$200!!! I couldn't believe it. Our artist didn't have the decency to let us know or say based on their minimum it wasn't really worth our time. He knew he'd have to charge us the basic price (which I totally respect, it's just not something I wanted to pay) but made us wait hella long and then gave us massive douche bag attitude after we said how disappointed we were. Overall still can't understand why he made us sit for so long and wait for nothing. I did a lot of research into where I got my second tattoo and decided on these guys. Basically the tattoo was a simple design and it turned out lovely, but the service wasn't friendly and I didn't feel particularly comfortable there. The friendliest person there was the receptionist. The guy that did my tattoo (no names mentioned) basically didn't talk to me the whole time let alone make eye contact, like when I said or asked something I got no response of a half hearted yeah/nah. That's not the kind of person I feel comfortably with letting them put a permanent mark on my skin. Let's just say went back to the place I got my first tattoo to get my third.Read Less

I'm studying abroad in Sydney and wanted to get a tattoo that symbolised my time here. I've never gotten a tattto before so I did a lot of research before I chose hunter and fox. I scheduled a consultation and when I went in the person (I forget his name) wasn't wery helpful at all. I thought he would sit down and have a thorough conversation about the tatto I wanted and where the best place for it would be. Instead he barley took a Look at my idea and said "I can do it right now". He seemed high, fidigty and like he couldn't focus. But he pressured me into paying a 50$ deposit so I could get the tatto the next day. a family emergency came up and I wasn't able to make the appointment and they wouldn't give me my deoposit back and said that if I still wanted to get my tatto I would have to pay another deposit. Great service, beautiful work, down to earth staff and the shop is conveniently well located for parking. Lauren is definitely worth the wait. I trusted her with my design, had a look at the work a couple minutes before she started tattooing and i couldn't of asked for a more amazing tat. no troubles with healing at all Read Less
