These guys are so great. Super friendly, yet very professional. They know their stuff. I wasn't nervous, but I can tell that if someone is, they know how to make you feel at ease. They are both creative and accommodating for individual designs. They answer all your questions patiently and properly. Pricing is really fair. I'm SOOOO happy with my tattoo. After some research I founded Tora Sumi. I made a appointment with Mick, and although I had to wait for 4 weeks to go back it was worth it! and OMG I was nervous. I could choose between watching a movie or listen to some music. Even my friend was nervous for me. But Mick made me feel comfortable and stopped when needed. I think I wasn't the best customer of Mick, because of all the twitching, but he did a really good job. and after 4 hours, my dream was forever! I've had three Tattoos at Tora Sumi - 2 from Jay and one from Dal and all I can say is that their work is all class! Amazing fine linework, original, super clean facilities and a great vibe in the shop. They guys give great advice and I've yet to feel a heavy hand on my body even with a large rib piece. My very first tattoo and what an incredible experience!! From consult to ink, Michael (Mick) Medusa was fantastic. Mick made what would seem to be a nerve-racking experience ... a cool, calm and exciting time! Prior to my appointment Mick and I discussed the concept of my tattoo as well as choosing fonts from a recommended website- So by the time I was ready to be inked, I knew exactly what I wanted! Mick and the staff were so accommodating. ... They even put on some R&B pop music (my favourite) to settle the nerves!! Because the process was so smooth and quick- it was over before I knew it! It is evident Mick is passionate about his work, a perfectionist at what he does and is a true artist. No job is too big or too small. The end result was perfect; I was so happy with it.
