I put my name down for a “walk in” was told I’d be given a call sometime in the next few hours. Well 9 hours later at around 9pm I got that call, although it was cold and I’d been in my PJ’s for sometime I had committed to this and I didn’t want to be a bad client.
The artist I saw couldn’t have been less interested in my ideas nor keep his eyes open. My tattoo looks like a child did it, the lines are wonky, blown out or fallen out. Nothing is symmetrical where it should be and just simply looks like it was done in jail with a razor blade.
Just to top it off my terrible 45min experience cost $250 to which I will need to go else where to get it fixed. The artist was a joke and the professionalism was just not there, call a walk in for what it is. If you’re too lazy to organize bookings that’s fine but don’t dick people around for hours and then give jail tattoos for a premium price. W****rs

I have two tattoos, that have both been done at freestyle, one of which I love and the other that I feel is slightly lacking. The first was tiny, pricey for what it was, and the line work in some places was not as straight as it could have been. The second however was incredible. It was done by a talented apprentice who was easy to talk to and provided their own design with a reference picture I gave, and it looks incredible. I believe the reason why the first was poor was due to the artist not being all that enthused by the design which I can respect but am still disappointed by. However my second experience greatly outweighed the first.

I messaged them for a quote and they said $250 then i went in to book and they said $600!? 3x more expensive than most tattoists and havent heard great things otherwise...

Overall, they are a clean, professional establishment. The front of house staff are very friendly. I have had a tattoo done here before which was well done. Unfortunately, the second time was not great. I decided to get a bigger tattoo to complement my existing ones. I feel that there was no real collaborative consultation with this particular artist and references of what I wanted it to look like was not taken into consideration. Paying good money means you want good art. I had multiple sessions for what could have been 1 and there was a lot of shuffling appointments and wasted time. I was unhappy with the final result because it looked like a rush amateur job even though I had provided references. It's a real shame considering I am now getting it covered up. Really I should have spent the money and gone to an artist I knew would do a good job and would have a good attitude.

Peta is an amazing tattoo artist and very friendly and easy to work with. Love how my tattoo turned out - lots of fine line work and exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend her as an artist.

Asked for minor changes on the tattoo design and the guy seemed really annoyed, sorry if I want it to look perfect as I'll have it on my skin for my whole life!, asked him if I was bothering him and he said " Well actually I want to go home I'm waiting for you" at 4 pm.. ended up getting just one of the 2 tattoos I wanted to get because of that reaction.
The girl was nice though and the one tattoo that I got was well done.
If that's taking "customer feedback extremely seriously"...

I was really desperate to get a teeny tiny tattoo of a semicolon on my wrist, but could not get in anywhere else til earliest Monday. Then I remembered freestyle where my daughter and her dad went yesterday to get the same tattoo done. The lovely girl on the desk remembered them and not only got me an appointment with Ben in between appointments, I was in and out of there within the hour and I live in Tuggeranong!!!! They understood the significance of my request and didn't even question it. Now that is impressive customer focus! The parlour itself was fabulous and Ben is an absolute genius artist! Thank you Freestyle for turning my sadness into a beacon, you are fantastic! Tatt looks fantastic only 7 hours later no redness or soreness whatsoever!!! ��️

The two ones that all want are TOD a blue dragonfly and the keys to heaven,sadly they DO MEAN A VIP THING.I AM SO SO SORRY FOR ALL THE OTHER CHOICES BUT TWO MAKE MY HAVE PHOTOS TAKEN,NOT MY HUSBANDS.

The shop is gorgeous! One of the best I've been in. Got a piece done by Ben, was very professional and did an awesome job, am very happy with the piece. The only criticism is that he sticky taped paper towel to my leg instead of cling wrap which is the first time any artist has done that. I bleed a bit and hope that my tatt hasn't stuck to the paper!

A word was missed out on my original tattoo, luckiky I spotted it. I was told and charged for 3 hours work the guy did it in an hour. Not given a refund. Very poor service with regards to after the tattoo, which in itself is ok but not fantastic. I was told I was getting the best!

I put my name down for a “walk in” was told I’d be given a call sometime in the next few hours. Well 9 hours later at around 9pm I got that call, although it was cold and I’d been in my PJ’s for sometime I had committed to this and I didn’t want to be a bad client.

I have two tattoos, that have both been done at freestyle, one of which I love and the other that I feel is slightly lacking. The first was tiny, pricey for what it was, and the line work in some places was not as straight as it could have been. The second however was incredible. It was done by a talented apprentice who was easy to talk to and provided their own design with a reference picture I gave, and it looks incredible. Unfortunately, the second time was not great. I decided to get a bigger tattoo to complement my existing ones. From the moment I walked into the studio to ask questions about the tattoo process, right through until the time I left the studio with my first tattoo, I was impressed with the professionalism of the team and the cleanliness of the studio. Then I remembered freestyle where my daughter and her dad went yesterday to get the same tattoo done.
